My name is Kylie. I am 20 years old, and I have a genetic disorder - Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have two amazing kittens, Iris and Bandit. They are Service Animals, each one has it's own unique tasks it performs to assist me in everyday living. I speak German fluently, Spanish sort of, and American Sign Language. I grew up in the once small town of Queen Creek, Arizona. I am the youngest of four, three biological. I would not be as successful as I am today without my family pushing me to not give up. Right after high school I moved to Pennsylvania, where I met my Fiancé. I am currently studying neuropsychology at Delaware County Community College (DCCC). After graduating from DCCC in 2017, I plan on attending a University -not sure where yet- to pursue my bachelor's degree, masters, and eventually a PHD. I want to work in a research lab in the field of Neuropsychology with a concentration in the psychological manifestations of connective tissue disorders and related illnesses. I also plan on opening a shelter for neglected children with disabilities. |
