Found Poem #1:
Created from-
I am NOT my illness
Ehlers Danlos syndrome.
My disability
Hidden, afraid, living hell
I am suffering to stay in the light as I fight this illness,
Emotionally draining, constant pain, health rapidly declining
I may never get better.
My only escape is through words or images on a page.
Internal battle, empowered, confidence, love
I do not fear this awful condition
I am alive and here
I am joyous to fight another day.
I am NOT my illness
I am a fighter
I see the light...
I am eloquent.
I am intelligent
I will inspire people
I am me

Writing process
Distractions
Everyday life interferes
Neighbors interrupting, dogs barking, phone ringing
Standing desks, tracking progress, time, early as possible
Examples and guidance
Many distractions
Write a paper
Contemplate all the distractions
Kittens meowing loudly
They want to play
Sink full of dishes
Netflix calling my name
The lovely birds outside chirping
Music is tempting
Words cloud my head
Many tasks
Phone rings
distractions make writing challenging
Become a better writer
Eliminating distractions
Quiet, well lit room
Record my thoughts
